The MacBook Air is the machine people actually carry, and that shapes what we see. It travels in rucksacks and tote bags, it gets used on kitchen tables next to full cups, and it is thin enough that a knock which a heavier laptop would shrug off cracks a screen or bends a lid. On the Intel Airs a slow machine can often be transformed with a storage upgrade; on the M1, M2 and M3 Airs memory and storage are soldered to the board, so what you bought is what you have — which makes a working backup considerably more important than it used to be.

Board-level work — a spill that has already corroded, or an Air that shows no sign of life — needs a microscope and proper rework equipment, so those go to our workshop and come back fully tested. Wherever the repair happens, it carries our 90-day parts-and-labour warranty, there is no callout charge anywhere in Greater London, and you pay nothing at all if we cannot fix it.
