Hardware Upgrades London

Hardware upgrades across London, fitted at your home or office. A slow computer often just needs more memory or a faster drive rather than a full repair — and it is one of the most cost-effective ways to get years more life out of a machine. We fit RAM upgrades and SSD replacements in laptops, desktop PCs and older Mac models with upgradeable components, cloning your existing data across so nothing is lost and your machine starts up exactly as before, only faster.

What to expect with Hardware Upgrades

Every hardware upgrade starts with an honest check. Our engineer confirms what your machine actually takes — how much RAM it supports, whether the drive can be swapped, and whether an upgrade will genuinely make a difference — and gives you a fixed price for parts and fitting before anything is opened up. If an upgrade would not help, we will say so.

The single biggest speed jump on most older computers is moving from a hard drive to an SSD. We clone your existing Windows or macOS setup across to the new drive so everything — your programs, files and settings — comes back exactly as it was, just far faster to boot and open. Adding RAM on top helps machines that struggle with lots of tabs, video calls or editing.

Most upgrades are done on-site in a single visit: laptops, desktop PCs and older iMac and Mac Mini models with upgradeable memory or storage. We handle the data migration for you, so you are not left copying files across by hand or setting a machine up from scratch.

Upgrades are quoted upfront with no callout charge, and the parts and workmanship are covered by our 90-day warranty. Because it is planned work rather than a fault, you get faster performance without the cost or hassle of replacing the whole computer.
